Und jetzt noch einmal auf deutsch: Mit der PS3-Version von Portal 2 wird es unter anderem möglich sein, auch gegen PC-Spieler im Mehrspielermodus anzutreten. Dies ist eines der heute von Valve enthüllten Steam-Sonderfeatures der PS3-Version des Spiels. Zu den weiteren Besonderheiten zählt außerdem ein Platform-unabhängiger Chat und die Möglichkeit Savegames in der Cloud zu speichern. Deweiteren bekommen alle PS3-Besitzer des Spiels die PC-Version noch kostenlos obendrauf!

"We made a promise to gamers at E3 that Portal 2 for the PlayStation 3 would be the best console version of the product," so Gabe Newell, co-founder und president von Valve. "Working together with Sony we have identified a set of features we believe are very compelling to gamers. We hope to expand upon the foundation being laid in Portal 2 with more Steam features and functionality in DLC and future content releases."
